Broccoli Cheese Soup 2
1 medium onion
3 T butter
3 C water
4 Chicken bouillon cubes
1 pkg (10 oz.) frozen broccoli
4 oz. thin noodles
1/3 of a 2 lbVelveeta loaf, cubed
4 C milk
Sauté onion in the butter until tender. Add the water and bouillon and bring to a boil. Add the frozen broccoli and noodles. Return to a boil and simmer for 5 – 7 minutes. Add the Velveeta. Let it melt completely before adding the milk. Let it warm the whole way through. Be sure to stir so it does not burn on the bottom.
I usually double this for my family.
